PeelJet performance in 2010

Company Weigel has used its experience of the worldwide development of the unique TrackJet® machine having lateral movements on a traversing module together with computerized synchronization and unique nozzle disc configuration, to develop a Superior system for Road Maintenance.

The new development, called PeelJet, was officially introduced at Intertraffic in Amsterdam at the end of March 2010. Weigel received substantial interest in the technology, as the  PeelJet can perform demarking/delineation as well as retexturing and/or cleaning using one vehicle.

The interest in our friction value improvement program has led to our being honored to be invited by several Road and Highway Directorates throughout Europe, to present our cost effective solution to reduce accidents by improvement of friction values on slippery roads. Strong media interest in our technology has also been expressed in some markets.

Weigel demarking/delineation has received significant interest during 2010. Company Weigel has carried out several operations on roads in Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Luxemburg, Poland, and Russia. The jobs were completed as planned and the authorities were particularly impressed with the high quality of work and efficiency of the PeelJet performance.

PeelJet shows far superior quality of work than competitive systems”,

was the general comment from highway authorities.

These activities are primarily to support our clients interest in purchasing their own machines. We aim to support their marketing activities with the authorities, in order to generate a market for clients that they can assume once they purchase a machine. Furthermore, we encourage our operators to report on their experiences, to the work shop, as an aid to our continuing development and improvement.

You are most welcome to contact company Weigel with your further inquiry regarding our services and machines.
